Our office provides very personalized service and we listen to patients and find out what is important to them. I take time to explain what is involved in the various procedures that patients are interested in. I make a concerted effort to treat patients like I would want my own family treated.
Dr Amspacher is seriously a hidden gem! I have never received such wonderful and empathetic care from a doctor in my entire life. From consultation to post op appointments I have never been made to feel stupid and always left appointments feeling heard and empowered. I had a really rough time with post op anxiety and Dr Amspacher was quick to reassure me, even once well after midnight lol. Outside of his character, he does great work!! I started with very asymmetrical tuberous breasts that I had always been insecure about before having my surgery in October 2024. I love my results and being able to go braless without the asymmetry and sagging on display. My breasts feel surprisingly natural despite having implants (560 cc and 650 cc) and my scars are lightening a lot. He is truly wonderful and I recommend him to everyone! If I ever have another cosmetic surgery I would absolutely go to him :)
Dr. Amspacher is a phenomenal surgeon and person. He truly cares about his patients and goes to great lengths to provide the best service and make his patients feel comfortable. His staff are also incredible and make the experience even better!
Dr. Amspacher was wonderful at explaining the breast reduction procedure and answered all my questions in great detail. At every appointment he took ample time to assure that I had all the information I needed prior to and after the surgery. My results were far beyond my expectations and my recovery has been uncomplicated. I would recommend Dr. A to anyone who is considering this surgery. His bedside manner is very pleasing, and he puts you at ease by calmly talking through any concerns that you may have. His clinic staff are kind, compassionate and helpful.
Dr. A is amazing!! He did everything so well and has the BEST bedside manner. He will talk you through everything and he truly cares about his patients. People have made a lot of passive aggressive comments towards me about going to a small town doctor but he is the best and i stand by that!! We did have to do two surgeries due to a small hematoma on my left side.
A 100%, 5 star Plastic Surgeon! I cannot recommend him enough! From consultation day to surgery and after (I am 7 days post op today), he and his nurse(s) have been amazing! Dr. Amspacher was recommend to me by a close friend and after seeing his skill of amazing work on her body, I knew he was going to be my PS before even meeting him. For you ladies who want the most natural looking belly button post op after a tummy tuck, this Doctor is the one! Even just one week post op, my belly button looks almost exactly like my belly button I'd had for all of my 49 years. Throughout the whole process from consultation, surgery day and post op, Dr. Amspacher has been very attentive, listened to exactly what my goals and concerns were, was very informative, honest and took his time with me and I never felt rushed. I never left with unanswered questions or worry and was very confident and no worry that I was in good hands.
From the very first phone call to Mosaic, I really felt like I was making the right choice. I drove from a few hours away in KC because I was so impressed with his profile. I was able to quickly set up a consultation with Dr. A to talk about my desires and his ability to help me achieve them. He listened to everything I had to say, and then gave me realistic expectations, which was important to me because I wanted just a breast lift without implants, and I was honestly terrified of the results. So many breast lift procedures end up with the patients breasts looking boxy or masculine, and I am happy to say that my results are neither! I had some anxiety before the procedure and Dr. A and his nurse Robyn did such a wonderful job putting me at ease. The surgery went quickly, everything was perfect. I'm only two weeks out from the procedure so I am still in recovery (six weeks before I'm approved to go back to full time normal, working out and everything) but I have felt really great the whole time. I am so happy I went with Dr. A, I haven't regretted my decision for a second. His nurse Robyn and all of the staff at Mosaic also deserve a five star rating- she has gone to great lengths to ensure my paperwork (for my headache of an employer) is turned in and filled out quickly. I am so grateful to everyone there and highly recommend making the jump if you're on the fence! I am a 51-year-old cosmetic surgery. I spend all of my professional time making people, the large majority of which are women, look and feel better about themselves by working with their skin and soft tissue and creating artistic change that brings about a positive visual outcome. Some surgeries are easier to execute than others. When it came time for me to bite the bullet and take matters into my own hands to improve my own self-confidence by getting a breast lift with augmentation, I had a number of different consultations. I consulted with surgeons as far away as Virginia and Oklahoma, but also more local surgeons. It’s not uncommon for the surgeon I am having a consultation with to freak out a little bit once they realize what I do for a living, because they realize I know what I’m talking about, I can see through their facade, and I can judge them more accurately than an average patient can. Out of all the consultations I had, my consultation with Dr. Amspacher was the best. Even before he knew that I was a surgeon, he reached out to me and communicated with me by email to clarify any questions I might have even before the day of my consultation. That is just unheard of. What inspired me to set up a consultation was that the before-and-afters I saw in RealSelf showed me evidence of good work (and mastopexies are very difficult to do WELL), and his reviews were good. That was enough to lead me to set up the consultation. On the day of the consultation, I encountered a surgeon who was completely unfazed when he found out what I did for a living, which showed me that his internal confidence was very high. He didn’t miss a beat. Explanations of what was important for me to know flew off the tip of his tongue like he had said it all a million times. I asked to review more before and after photos, and he shared them with me. And based on my experience, I could see evidence of a surgeon who was perfectionistic and artistic and competent. We talked about body issues other than my breasts, and he never tried to sell me on anything that wasn’t critical, something that I greatly respect. I could tell in the consultation that this was a man with integrity, with kindness, with a good bedside manner, and with good artistic judgment. After he left, I confronted his nurse and said “Dr. Amspacher is a good doctor, isn’t he?” His nurse, Robyn, smiled and responded to me by saying that he was the reason she chose to stay, because it was so good to work with him, and she had worked with him for five years. That is a very good sign! The remarkable thing is that his fees were substantially less than everybody else I consulted with. So I paid less, but that is absolutely not the reason I chose to go with him. That was just an added bonus! It has now been five months since I had sub-pectoral 415cc silicone implants at the same time as a mastopexy. (My current size is a full 34dd) I cannot be happier with my outcome. My breast wounds healed without a single complication. My result is very symmetric. My nipples and areolas are exactly the same level and perfectly round and let me tell you from experience that that is extremely difficult to do WELL. My scars are of exceptional quality. My result looks natural. He frankly did a perfect job. Since my surgery, I have referred a number of my own patients to him for things that I do not perform. I cannot recommend him highly enough. You could go to him with full confidence for breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy, mastopexy with augmentation, tummy tuck, body lift, thigh lift, arm lift, you name it. And if he’s good with all of that, he’s obviously going to be good with anything reconstructive. And it should go without saying that my review ought to carry a LOT of weight.
Researching doctors in my area I found Dr Amspacher on real self. I had 4 consultations total before deciding who would do my TT/MR, BL and lipo. After meeting with Dr Amspacher I knew he was the one for me. I have type 1 diabetes and 1 heart stent that was years ago and I am very healthy and strong so I knew I could do this and so did he, confidence in what you do and your team is everything. Also needed done in a hospital for me and my families comfort, I spent 1 night there and loved the hospital staff, they were cool and fun, food was great as well, hospital discounts this to 500 dollars. Office staff are all so sweet and encouraging, felt very comfortable with every single one of them. I am 10 plus weeks post Tummy tuck and muscle repair and 8 plus weeks post breast lift with lipo to flanks, back and bra line. 2 procedures done as close as possible and I thank him for that, wish it could all have been done together but safety first, lengthy surgeries because he takes his time with you. My incision was closed day 5 and I healed perfectly with no complications. No binder or faja for 5 days to get the best blood circulation possible, as a nurse myself it makes absolute sense, after day 5 my drains were gone and I was in my faja 6 weeks 24 hours unless showering, then 6 weeks 12 hours a day(in this phase now). Breast lift turned out amazing, love love how I can wear anything I want and not struggle to move them, I’m lucky I had the tissue after weight loss to not need a fat transfer or implants, they are perky and full. Professional, kind, and caring is what my experience has been, thank you all so much!
I can’t even put into words how removing my excess runny skin and having a breast reduction has completely changed my life. Dr A is a true gift. He is so kind and gentle and comfortable to be around. He has immaculate surgery skills. My only regret is not doing these surgeries sooner!!! I would recommend anyone to go to him. You will be in amazing hands. And his staff…. Wow just as amazing. God bless all of them for what they do for people!!

There is no specific time that you have to wait after tummy tuck to travel but it is usually a good idea to wait a day or two because in the first 24-48 hrs is when the risk for bleeding or other serious complications is the highest. That being said most patients will not feel up to traveling very far for the first 5-7 days because that is when they are the most sore. If you are at a large airport you may have to walk significant distances when you are really sore and tired. Also, If you are traveling a long distance you would want to make sure that your plastic surgeon knows so that so they can make sure you are on a blood thinner such as lovenox to decrease the risk of a blood clot..Best of Luck on Your Journey, Dr. AmspacherChief of Surgery Mosaic LifeCare Hospitals and Clinics
It depends on what kind of improvement you are looking for. If you are looking for a slight improvement a mini may be all that you need to get a mild improvement. A mini tummy tuck will give some improvement in the central lower abdomen with a shorter scar but it will not improve the appearance of the belly button and will not help as much as a full tummy tuck with the bulging belly. The mini will also lower the position of the belly button by a few centimeters in most cases. A full tummy tuck will be a much bigger improvement in the abdominal contour and the belly button will stay at the same height but you have a little chance for a vertical scar at the bottom of your incision since you don't have as much skin excess as some massive weight loss patients. If you want big results go with the full tummy tuck and some liposuction, but if you only want a small improvement then go with the small scar.Best of Luck on Your Journey, Dr. AmspacherChief of SurgeryMosaic Life Care Hospitals and Clinics
When you’re young and don’t have a lot of excess weight you have a lower risk of loose skin, but you have a little higher risk of contour deformities (lumps bumps or divots). You would probably want to go to someone who follows the SAFE liposuction protocols. This stands for Separation Aspiration and Fat Equalization. This three step technique helps maximize the amount of fat removed while minimizing the risk of postop lumps/bumps and divots. It is more work and takes more time but is worth it for the better chance at a good outcome. Best of Luck on Your Journey,Dr. A.
They eyelid and cheek skin attach to the skin through a variety of different attachment ligaments and septa. The face has multiple fat compartments that help shape the face and these are divided by septal layers. As the face ages many people will get deflation in the upper cheek compartments and bulging of the lower lid as the septum becomes more weak. The difference in individuals is related to a combination of how their facial fat compartments age and how their septa and ligaments sag or stay tight over time.
Congratulations on doing a good job of getting back into shape after your children. You would get an improvement in your nipple position with a larger implant but you would still have some ptosis or droop and would not make it to ideal nipple position. The trade off for moving the implant above the muscle is an increased risk of capsular contracture. You may get a better one step result if you did a smaller implant and did the lift at the same time. If you really want to avoid the extra incisions then you could proceed with the larger implant, but you would need to know that you have a reasonable chance of ending up needing a lift in a second surgery to get better breast shape and nipple position.
