Should I have this much movement after 50 units of Botox? (Photo)

I'm not sure when you had your injections, but it can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. Additional botox and/or fillers, lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Sometimes the forehead area will appear smooth except for a small area. I would recommend a follow-up with your injector for a few more units of Botox. This is not unusual. The location or placement of the Botox is more important than the actual number of units. Good luck

How much movement did you have before the treatment? It would be useful to compare your before and after pictures and notice the difference. 50 Units is a lot for the forehead alone. Some people like a more natural look with some movement, whereas others prefer to be frozen and have no movement at all. Make sure you follow up and communicate your goals with your injector. Hi LTwins,Thank you for your question. I would recommend going back to your provider for a touch up (if it has already been 2 weeks). From your photograph, it looks like just a little bit more would be needed, though of course your provider will want to evaluate in person. 

I would recommend following up with your provider. Additional units may be needed to treat the top of your forehead.  Prior to adding more units I usually have my patients wait 2 weeks to ensure botox has taken full effect. I hope this helps.

If it has been 2 weeks since your treatment then yes, it looks as if your injector missed a spot. Return to the office to be assessed and get a touch up. Best of luck. 

Thank you for your question.  I think the injector might of just missed that one spot . I would have him or her add a couple units so your don't over compensate with that muscle .  

Thank you for your question and for submitting your photo.  How long has it been since your treatment?  It can take up to 14 days to see the full effects of a Botox treatment.  If it has been over 2 weeks, it would be worthwhile to follow-up with your injector to discuss your concerns and for a touch-up treatment to your upper forehead.  I hope this helps!  

Thanks for the question and sharing your photo. Botox can take 7-14 days to take full effect. If after 14 days there remains some motion, a few more units of Botox can be injected into the area of muscle activity to resolve this. I would followup with your injector to discuss your concern. This can easily be corrected with additional Botox if needed.
