I just did my lips and it starts to appear small round balls on my lips. I wanted to know how much it cost to fix it? And also how long it takes to do so?
Answer: Bumps after lip injections Hello and thank you for your question. First and foremost, you should wait a full 2 weeks from the time of your infections before judging its final outcome. Swelling and bruising can often create lumps/bumps that can give an uneven look, so waiting until they are fully healed is important. If after two weeks you are unhappy, contact your injector and have him/her even them out for your. From your photo, it look as if the filler was mainly placed in the most central part of the upper lip. This can be fixed with a bit more filler in the surrounding tissues to even it out. There is also the option to dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase, assuming your injector used a hyaluronic acid based filler such as Juvederm or Restylane.

Answer: Lips Thank you for your question. I would recommend giving it a little more time, most of the time it will break down by itself and or follow up with your injector to see if they can inject vitrase to help break it down a little faster. Typically a little light massage does the trick. Best of luck to you.

Answer: How much would it cost to fix the small round balls on my lips? Thank you for sharing your question and photograph, and I am sorry that your current result is not what you anticipated. Rest assured that some of your symptoms will get better over the next 10 days. It often takes up to 2 weeks for fillers to soften and the tissues to appear more natural. In the meantime try reducing the swelling by using cold compresses to your lips and elevating your head at night with a couple of extra pillows behind your back. You may want to also consider using Arnica Montana and bromelain as supplements. If the lumps remain, and a hyaluronic acid dermal filler was used, the filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase in typically a singe session. Hang in there!

Answer: Lumps Dear saifwaleed1992,dermal fillers have significant swelling post injection. I would follow up with you plastic surgeon but typically I tell all my patients to wait a full two weeks. Generally at 2 weeks they are happy and glad they didn't dissolve. Dissolving is unpredictable as well.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Lumps after Lip augmentation with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella) There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer
