Dear Whimsicaldifferent surgeries can be combined only if it is safe for the patient. I don't recommend any combination of procedures which will require a general anesthesia for over 6 hours. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon for more details and examination. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Thank you for your question.combining procedures is very common in plastic surgery. The most important factor when considering multiple procedures is your health and general strength level. The best is to divide all the procedures you want in two phases. i suggest you to go over all your concerns with your PS. Best of luck
It is common to combine procedures, but only if it can be done safely. Most plastic surgeons prefer to keep surgical time to around 6 hours. With all of the procedures you are considering, you will likely need to break it into two stages. Speak with your surgeon to see what is the best choice for you.
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is possible to combine these procedures. However, I suggest that you find two surgeons (like in our practice) that can work together to complete the procedure within a safe time period. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. I suggest that you find a board-certified plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of patients who have had similar procedures. Good luck!
