I am 32, and have become more self conscious of my eyes over the past couple years. I am always trying to hide them with sunglasses. I went to a physician in regards to my concerns and she told me sometimes it is just the lighting, and although she is not crazy about the idea she would do 1 syringe of volbella with an insulin like syringe. She made me feel dumb for inquiring.

Answer: Tear Trough filling You have beautiful features. It appears that you have a hereditary puffiness under the eyes and hollowness below that. You would be a great candidate for filler, but also realize to get the best result you may want to have a lower eyelid blepharoplasty- if the puffiness is there all the time. It is important to consult another doctor. You should have a good rapoir with your doctor and feel that you can share your concerns openly.

Answer: Am I a Candidate for Tear Trough Filler? Volbella Can Smooth Out Undereye Troughs Volbella is an excellent dermal filler to use in the tear trough because it is very thin, provides a lovely, soft-looking result and is made of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance that occurs in our body to keep our skin moist and our joints supple. Volbella can also last up to 18 months or more. However, please don’t use this physician for your Volbella injections. It sounds like she has no experience in this area, and you don’t want anyone to “learn” on you. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist who has expert injection technique and is comfortable treating tear troughs will give you the most satisfying and beautiful result.
