Having always been disappointed with my extremely thin lips, I received 1ml of Juvederm Volbella today. The results are a good start, however subtle. I would like to achieve a medium-sized pout - nothing extreme but my injector said come back and we'll see how much space you have left...(for another 1ml) so is there an upper ceiling to how much can be injected if you start off v thin? I am not looking for Kylie Jenner-style results but am worried I will be stuck forever with thin lips!

Answer: How Much Lip Filler Is Too Much? The amount of lip filler will vary for each person based on the pre-existing structure of their lips and the goals they want to achieve. Without seeing you and examining you it's hard to say how much filler would be appropriate. In general, Volbella gives a vary subtle result and most people will need more than 1 syringe. If you are looking for more volume then you may want to consider another bulkier filler such as Juvederm or Restylane. For those that want a lot of volume it's not unusual to give 2-4 syringes of filler, but this is done over a period of months and not in one session. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced injector. Hope this helps answer your question.

Answer: Lip Augmentation Hello - thank you for your question. There is not a set limit on how many syringes you can do... It is really dependent on how much your lips can fit. We have some patients with 1 or 2 syringes and others with 3-4 at a time. It depends on your desired look and your lip size to begin with.
