Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. It looks like you have inner thigh indentation after your first procedure, which is demonstrated in your last picture. The second procedure was done by someone who did not have sufficient skill and experience with Liposuction. Before providers and having surgery, I recommend patients thoroughly vet providers. The best way to do this is to insist that they show you an impressive collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics with the same area treated. A highly experienced provider should have access to hundreds or preferably thousands of before, and after pictures to choose from. Do not assume somebody has the skill without getting confirmation. Liposuction results are permanent and irreversible. Radio, frequency treatments are not going to correct overly aggressive fat removal, which should not have been done on somebody who is middle-aged and is starting to develop loss of skin elasticity. The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of liposuction and or fat transfer is in reality quite small. Finding these providers usually takes a significant amount of work and often having multiple consultations. After the fact, there isn’t a whole lot you can do to improve the contour.I cannot emphasize enough, the importance of properly vetting providers. I recommend this by starting the process by having multiple in person consultations with plastic surgeons who seem to have extensive experience with the procedure you’re interested in. Bring pictures of yourself to use as reference during the consultation. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics For whatever procedure they are recommending. Take careful notes during the consultation, especially regarding the quality and quantity of before and after pictures. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The more consultations you have the more likely you are to find the better provider. The biggest mistake I make is either relying on virtual consultations or having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. There are plenty of providers claiming expertise or extensive confidence in this field. Self promotion seems inversely correlated with true competence. I wish I had some optimistic suggestions for you but correcting poorly done Liposuction is inherently very difficult and there are only limited improvements possible. All improvements require surgical intervention and even with further surgery the best you can hope for is slight improvements. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
