Botched vaser liposuction was performed by a surgeon in Turkey. Skin burns. necrosis, irregular fat intake, fibrosis and scar tissues due to excessive processing, contour irregularities. What could be the correction options?

The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of Liposuction is in reality quite small.Delivering consistent quality Liposuction results is more difficult than most people recognize.I generally recommend people have multiple in person, consultations one in advance of having surgery before selecting a provider.I generally recommend against virtual consultation and always recommend patients insist on having in person consultations so you can probably Vet providers regarding their skill and ability.Liposuction results should be considered permanent and irreversible.I generally always recommend against traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures and would personally not consider traveling to a developing country to have a cosmetic surgery.The ability to improve your outcome is inherently limited.You don’t have much fat left to work with.The procedure was done very aggressively so there’s almost no subcutaneous fat layer left and what is left is uneven.Trying to make it even by removing more fat Isn’t going to help that much and someways make the problem worse. Any attempt at grafting, fat, or adding fat from other areas will most likely fail because the area is now devoid of a sufficient fat layer to support any grafted fat.It may be possible to make some subtle slight improvements, but that’s probably all you can hope for. Considering how difficult it is to do liposuction well in the first place and that revision work is many times more technically challenging it than primary Liposuction the importance of finding the right provider goes without saying.Simply being able to find somebody who can do revision surgery and not make things worse is going to be difficult.I wish I could be optimistic.I recommend you schedule exclusively in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your community who have proven track record with Liposuction and especially doing revision work.During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who have similar body characteristics to your own. Highly experienced plastic surgeon should have access to 100 or preferably thousands of before, and after pictures to choose from.This is especially true for common procedures like Liposuction.Being shown a handful of pre-selected images representing only the best results from a providers career may be insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider.best,Mats Hagstrom MD
