I had liposuction on my stomach area and gynocomastia treatment in my teens. Now I have two things I'd prefer to resolve. First is the "fat roll" around my nipple. it's only on 1 side. I assumed it would go away with weightloss but if anything it's made it more pronouced. Second is the "lumpiness" where the previous lipo was performed. It looks awful and hoping there is something to fix it.
Answer: Revision Liposuction Pending a formal evaluation, you may be a good candidate for a Revision Liposuction. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. Fat can be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: Liposuction If you have residual fat around your nipple, it can be liposuctioned again. If it is fat, it will need to be excised. An examination is needed to be certain. Sculptra injections can be very helpful to minimize the uneveness of your abdomen. It will take several vials and at least 3 sessions 6 weeks apart, Plus, Sculptra does take up to 2 years to completely allow the new tissue growth to occur. It is not immediate results. Please go to someone who does a fair amount of Sculptra, especially in scarred areas.

Answer: Gynecomastia and abdominal liposuction outcome It looks to me like you have more of a skin laxity issue around the nipple, then an area of excess fat. I generally don’t recommend people take pictures using mirrors because the picture gets reversed. It’s important that we’re talking about the same side. Either have someone else take the picture or use the timer on your camera. Removing skin redundancy on the Male chest is much more difficult than it is on women’s breast. Breast lift procedures that work on women may not work on men. In regards to your Liposuction results, the procedure was not done well and I think it was also done aggressively. These are by far, the most difficult outcomes to improve on. Any attempts at revising the liposuction results can potentially make things worse. Whether revision surgery is indicated or not is something that will definitely require in person consultations. Plastic surgeons approach master Liposuction, and that revision work is many times more difficult than primary Liposuction finding a provider to be working with is going to be challenging by itself. I generally recommend people avoid virtual consultation and instead exclusively in person consultations. Start the process by scheduling in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your community who seem to have extensive Liposuction experience. I would be leery of individuals who think this is easier to fix or that some “technology device”(esp vaser or Renuvion) is going to make your outcome better. If these procedures are not done well, the first time the chance of having a quality outcome drops significantly. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
