The only thing holding me back from getting them corrected is me being worried about not being able to breast feed afterwards. I know that I won’t be able to know if I can breastfeed until I have a baby, but what are the chances of not being able to breast feed after having tuberous breast correction? Thank you

Answer: Breast feeding after correcting tuberous breast deformity Correcting tuberous breasts should not affect your ability to breastfeed. That is a very valid concern. Many women who are concerned about this choose the most natural breast augmentation procedure in which your own fat is transferred to the breast area. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Breast Feeding After Breast Implant Surgery mj94. I completely understand your dilemma, however it is extremely difficult to predict your ability to breast-feed after surgery to correct tuberous breasts. The correction may only require placement of breast implants under the muscle and release of constricted tissue of your lower breast tissue, and this would increase the possibilities of being able to breast-feed. However, severely constricted breasts often times are not able to produce milk, with or without surgery. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore all options for you. Good luck.
