Why are my breasts cone shaped? (Photo)

Question

I have/had tuberous breasts. I was a full B cup and got 520cc silicone implants. Today is POD3 and they are two giant cones. Is it typical of tuberous breasts patients to have this look with implants? And does it usually resolve itself during the drop and fluff stage? My doctor isn’t being very helpful or reassuring and I’m scared they will be coney forever :(

Your breasts appear to be tuberous. Radial scoring of the breast tissue is required during your augmentation procedure to release the constrictions of the breast. If this was done, it may take some time for your breast tissue to conform around the implants. Best of luck with your continued recovery.

with tuberous breast internal scoring of the tissue has to be also perform to help the breast tissue flatten out over the implants. At times your may need an incision around the areola to help. You are still early in the healing process. It may take months to see your results.

It might take a while for the breasts to round a bit more with the implants.  Often radial scoring is necessary to help the process.
