Thank you for your question. You definitely have tuberous breasts, but they are mild.  You have a straightforward fix with an augmentation and donut lift. It would be important for you to go on a couple of consultations to assess the ultimate result that you envision, i.e. size and shape. Best wishes to you.

I would not really consider your breasts to be tuberous and think that a straightforward breast augmentation is what you need.  If you want areolae reduction this can be accomplished at the same time but would be an additional cost.  Cost will also depend on whether you use saline or silicone implants.  Expect the total cost to be anywhere from $6500 to 9500.

The technique I
recommend is a modified Benelli lift. 
Using a circumareola incision, it is possible to reduce the size of your
areolas, reshape your breast tissue, elevate them higher on the chest wall and
more medial to increase your cleavage. 
At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional

Your best option is with implants to create a cleavage.  You could try fat grafting to give your breasts some more fullness but this would require several sessions to obtain significant volume.

for a breast augmentation and areolar reduction.  The size, profile, and shape of the
implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.  This entire surgery
can be performed with a small incision technique. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.   Make sure you
specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have
had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Dear lenzerl1,Tuberous breasts can rarely be corrected without implants or at least a small one. The breast needs to be scored radially from the inside to expand it. If you don't place an implant behind the radial scoring it will fall back to its original state. You could theoretically remove the implant at a later day and graft with fat but that would be a separate surgery.The cost of surgery depends on a lot of factors (type of surgery, number of treated areas, anesthesia fee, surgeon, facility fee, city, etc.). It would be the best to visit or call plastic surgery offices and ask for a price.Daniel Barrett, MD

Your photos show some features shared with tuberous breasts but I am not certain from the images that you have a true tuberous breast deformity. You do appear to have some prominent areolas with herniation and a slightly restricted lower pole and inframammary fold. Cleavage is a byproduct of the combination of breast (+implants, if present) volume, skin mobility (allowing the tissues to be pressed up and in), and bra support. If you have a wide breastbone or constricted folds that are widely separated from the breastbone, your cleavage may be limited. Exam in the office is required to assess the patient and make proper recommendations. Breast lifts are also commonly done in combination with implants in patients with deflation, tuberosity, overhang, and other findings. Costs vary by surgeon, facility, region, etc. but are often in the $6000 range for augmentation and the $8000-10000 range if lifts are required.

This says his credentials have been checked out by fellow Drs. All surgeries carry risk, talk to your plastic surgeon.

Generally, good results can be achieved with tuberous breast correction but it certainly varies for everyone as the spectrum of deformity is vast and some patients start off with better anatomy than others.  Correction is possible with fat grafting but it requires having sufficient fat donor sites and likely multiple sessions.  Inserting an implant is still the most reliable way of improving shape and volume.  Hope this helps!  As always, seek proper consultation before treatment and best of luck!

Cost for breast augmentation will vary by location and surgeon. It appears that your best option for improvement in the shape and size of your breasts will be with the use of breast implants. There is a bit of a gap between your breasts. So even after breast augmentation your breasts probably will not have "natural" cleavage where your tissue meets in the middle of your chest. Thanks for sharing your question. Best wishes.
