I personally just want empty space filled in my breast. I breast fed and my breast have become deflated almost. Ideally I want bigger breast without the lift because I do get keloid scars and I'm trying to avoid that all together. Any suggestions?
Answer: Is a breast lift needed? Hello @merci44, thank you for your question. It is possible to reposition and improve the shape of the breast with minimal scarring by raising the base slightly and improving the overall proportion. Breast Pexia with my BRALIFT technique (breast reconstruction with anatomical lift) is a procedure that is performed with the tissue itself, with an "L" incision, being the minimum and smallest scar possible to achieve the best result. This surgery seeks to relocate in a higher position the areola and nipple, improve the shape of the breast, reorganizing the mammary parenchyma. Improving the proportionality of the patient's appearance, its symmetry and providing greater firmness. A consultation is vital to establishing a surgical plan that meets your needs, meets your expectations, and takes into account what is possible. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: Breast lift When I examine a patient I do measurements and determine the natural volume of the their breast and the position of the nipple complex. I discuss the patient's desires, as well. The position of the nipple complex determines whether a lift is needed or optional. When the nipple complex is below the lower fold of the breast (inframammary fold) I would recommend a breast lift with or without a breast implant.

Answer: A breast augmentation minimizes your scarring. Your two comments in your paragraph are that you wanted the empty space filled in your breast and ideally you would like to have bigger breasts without the lift. As long as you realize that you have a grade 2 and that you will end up with a bigger version of your grade 2, then a breast augmentation will increase the volume in your breast and it will leave you with a 5 cm incision in the fold underneath your breast and nowhere else. This meets your criteria of filling the volume in your breast, avoiding a lift and minimizing your scarring. Have a detailed consultation with a plastic surgeon. Best wishes.

Answer: Lift needed? Keloid scars are something to consider when considering cosmetic surgery. My first impression from your photos is that you would benefit from a breast lift to maximally rejuvenate your breasts; no implants. Then you can pursue implants later if desired. In many cases, patients are happy with the shape and proportion of the breasts after a lift only. If you go for implants only to help achieve lift and shape, you will likely end up top heavy, disproportionate, and with the breast tissue hanging off the implants. I do not see any keloids on your body so it will help to clarify if you truly have keloid problems. If you truly have a keloid problem, then you will need to carefully consider surgery. Thank you. (see attached for example of lift.)

Answer: Bellesoma Method Yes, a lift is needed. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
