I'm currently 39 years old with a (saggy) C Cup. Would I be a good candidate for a breast lift without implants? (photos)

Hello, thank you for your question. The mass of the breasts will change very little with a breast lift as usually only a small amount of skin is removed. The breast density can be altered by the tightening of the skin envelope and make the breast appear smaller. Breast fat transfer is a great tool to balance breasts, improve symmetry, but only gain up to one cup size in volume.

If you don’t want implants then you don’t need them. A breast lift alone would be sufficient to reshape your breasts to make them perkier. Only a small amount of tissue is removed so you’ll be roughly the same size as now, however your breasts may fit into your bra differently because of their perkier shape. For some women, this may mean you’ll need to wear a different sized bra (smaller or larger). However, please note that your actual breasts will be about the same size.

Yes you are a candidate for a breast lift without implants. Once the nipple areolar complex (NAC) is properly elevated into its new , more aesthetically pleasing position, your our own breast tissue can be re-positioned under the nipple areolar complex (the procedure goes by different monikers, but auto-augmentation is one that is commonly used to describe this particular procedure. This will provide your breast with fullness in the mid portion of the breast and a very pleasing aesthetic appearance. The difference in utilizing this particular procedure instead of a straight forward breast lift is that after the surgeon elevates the NAC into the proper elevated position, and modifies the excess skin of the breast, a pocket under the breast is surgically created , and the breast tissue which is hanging below the NAC is modified & secured with sutures under the NAC . This maneuver provides the breast a natural appearing fullness to an extent which is not possible with the standard breast lift procedure in which the surgeon modifies only the excess skin of the breast.

based on these photos, you are excellent candidate for breast lift. You may expect to be slightly smaller than current size but is will look good on you. Good luck.

As long as you are ok with your current cup size, you can do a lift alone. This will naturally lift the breast above your lower breast fold, raise and centralize your nipple on the breast mound and make the areola smaller, which will look quite nice. Realize that permanent scarring is the trade-off and the final contours will be tear drop shaped. There will not be a lot of upper pole fullness you normally see associated with breast implants. But if you are ok with a natural contour, you will be pleased.

I think you are a candidate for a donut mastopexy, which will lift your nipple position and tighten your skin, without actually reducing your volume- that way you can avoid implants!

Thank you for your question and photos. If you are satisfied with the volume of your breasts, then no implants are needed. You would do well with a short scar or lollipop breast lift and auto-augmentation of the superior poles. Only tissue that is removed is excess skin. If you want to have more superior pole fullness, an augmentation with an implant will be needed at the same time or you can have that done later if you are not sure.

The technique I recommend is a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

I also think you would be better with implants. However, you can go fir the lift only and have implants placed later on if you think you need them.
