Your results are typical of the anchor lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief and long term stability. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello. Great question. Thank you for your pictures. A breast lift does not reduce your breast size. Since you are considering a revision, a breast reduction will be your best option to achieve smaller breasts. Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.
Dear Queaty, breast lift doesn't remove breast tissue so you can't expect a significant decrease in size. If you want to get smaller breasts, then you might need a breast reduction surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I am not sure why you selected to add more volume with fat if you wanted to be smaller, but you can have liposuction to remove some excess fat or a reduction.
Hello! Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, I think you may be an excellent candidate for breast reduction surgery---even though you had breast lift surgery in the past. This procedure results in smaller, perkier, and more youthful looking breasts. If you decide to pursue surgery, it’s very important that you find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a well-trained plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person and tailor an individualized treatment plan for you and your aesthetic goals. Best of luck!Matthew A. DelMauro, M.D.
Hello, thank you for your question. How long has it been since your breast lift and fat transfer procedure? I would recommend waiting at least 6 months after surgery to see how much of the fat remains and to allow the swelling to completely resolve before considering another procedure.Looking at your photos, you still have quite a lot of breast tissue hanging below your breast crease. This is contributing to the size and heaviness of the breasts. If this tissue were removed and/or the breast repositioned higher on your chest, you would have more upper pole fullness and be smaller and perkier than you currently are. However, the cleavage is difficult to achieve in large heavy breasts, sometimes the only way to have that look is to place an implant to really fill that upper pole. I know it sounds counterintuitive but we are basically removing the heavy tissue from below but adding the structured implant to give you fullness above.Remember that gravity always wins! So even if you are high and tight right after surgery, you will drop.Make sure your plastic surgeon is board-certified and able to address all your concerns!I hope this helps. - Dr. Leong
Hi and welcome to our forum! In the breast lift procedure, excess skin is removed and the breast is brought up from its sagging position. No breast tissue is removed. There will be no significant change in breast size. As you are concerned about breast size, you should consider breast reduction surgery to remove breast tissue as well as excess skin. I would delay surgery for at least 6 months from your previous surgery to allow for subsidence of swelling and the hypervascularity of healing.Best wishes...
