Hole in implant incision. Is it serious? (Photo)

Question

I'm 3 weeks post revision breast surgery. Implants were lowered. Have silimed polyrethane implants. Went to moisturise scar as advised and felt tender. Checked and notices small black hole to incision. Is this serious? Am hoping is just a stitch?

The photo does not tell the whole story.  I agree that your surgeon needs to see this in person.  It could be very simple but if the implant is exposed, it could require more surgery.  I hope you have already called your surgeon's office for an appointment.

Best to have this checked promptly by your surgeon to determine whether its just a superficial opening, or whether it's really an exposure of the implant (which is serious).
