Hello Got juvederm voluma in my cheeks and chin 5 months back Is laser hair removal safe after juvederm - will it affect the longevity of the fillers ?

Some injectors inject Voluma in the lower jaw and chin, but it's not the ideal filler to use in this area. If not injected correctly, it can cause a lot of swelling in the injected area. If your swelling doesn't subside, have your provider do a reversal.

Yes... This is the beauty of HA fillers. They can successfully and quickly be reversed with Hylenex or a different Hyaluronidase.

Hi @Rdhead1! You are correct, fillers can be diluted with either saline or lidocaine to thin the consistency. I hyperdilute Voluma in my practice to use for tear trough fillers. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!

Voluma and Volbella are 2 new Vycross fillers from Allergan.  Volbella is much finer and intended for the perioral area where filler is injected more superficially.  Voluma is intended to be injected deeper and is FDA approved for 2 years duration.  For cheeks I would recommend Voluma.
