i am 27 years of age and i had a 2500 fue procedure done on october 2014.all things went good till now.my question is that when i will get full dense hair bcoz right now whatever i have gain is not what i expected.in my frontal part 2500 grafts were implanted.and its been 5 months completed till now.so kindly suggest shall i wait for good results or i should accept the current growth.bcoz whenever i take bath and see myself in mirror i feel that its just not what i expected.

Answer: Density after hair transplant The question is difficult to address without seeing your before photos. However, grafts on average start to grow around 4 to 6 months after a transplant and it takes a year or longer to see the full results. This being said, you are very young and at risk for losing more hair. If you are not taking measures to slow down your hair loss you will continue to lose hair and will not achieve the level of density you may expect from a transplant. While the transplanted hairs for the most part are taken from a donor area not susceptible to hair loss, you will continue to lose your native hairs from the frontal and mid scalp region and thus the net result would be retaining the transplants while continuing to lose your hair. I would discuss all the options with your surgeon to slow down your hair loss, particularly, because of your young age.
