Need 4000 grafts to cover frontal and middle part of head. Front with 2000 grafts and remaining portion with 2000 grafts. However my donor area is not much dense; doc says it's fine, should i go for HT?

Answer: Should I go for a transplant with my current density? Without seeing your scalp and understanding your history of hair loss in detail, it's hard to say. One thing is fairly certain (provided the reason for your hair loss is genetic) - and that is that you'll get an improvement in the density of your hair. You'll want to sit down with a few surgeons to understand how thick it will be at the end result, whether you have room for more surgeries down the road, and what the back will likely look like after 4000 grafts are removed. In general, most people have 3000-7000 donor area follicular units to move in a lifetime.
