On Wednesday 27/5/15 I had my transplant with Dr Williams and Dr Farjo in Manchester . As a business man myself for the last 28yrs. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the set up and the whole team of staff. As I entered the operating room I was surprised to see 6 other members of staff waiting , I commented on this and asked if they were all there for my operation. They explained the reason was that once my hair was taken out the quicker they are separated ready for the graft the greater percentage of success. In total 8 people worked around 8 hours on my operation it was a long day but the staff were amazing and the final result is looking excellent. From the advice of Mick my first contact and finishing touches from Dr Williams what a great guy and can highly recommend this company.
Quite possibly the worst clinic. I was left with an extreme bad result. Quick to take money, but fail to give me hair. This is a warning to anyone who is considering this clinic. Do not be fooled by a flash clinic its all smoke a mirrors. You will be left wondering why you never took this advice.
I made a big mistake dealing with Farjo. Hair clinics in the UK are diabolical. Even though I read this time and time again...I didn't listen. I would strongly advise anyone in the UK to fly to the US. I wasted my time and money.
There is a saying in Arabic my dad used to like: The expensive is cheap! In other words, you get what you pay for. Of course this is not always true, but if the so called expensive item or service is of top quality then it is true. What you must realise is that a significant and quality hair transplant can take a whole day and involve a large team of highly trained professionals. That is what produces the results you see. In the countries you mentioned there are regulations, standards and accountability. Most of the doctors you found expensive also invest heavily in travelling and taking time out of their practice to continually educate themselves and their staff in the latest techniques and ideas.Cheap surgery is exactly that. Either the staff and the doctor are not getting paid enough, or they have to cut corners so they can do more 'cheap' surgery on that day. Do you want to be treated under those circumstances? Finally, if cheap surgery results in a complication or an unnatural result, you will regret it for a very long time if not the rest of your life and of course it will cost you a lot more money!
A hair transplant involves physically moving hair roots from one location to another. they are not at the original location any moreHowever, this does not mean you will notice any bald patches because of the way we perform a hair transplant. With strip or FUT we remove the hairs and the skin, shrinking the area to a very thin linear scar. With FUE we scatter the harvest site over a large area to make very hard to notice the missing hairs
This is not unusual and all may resolve in a few days time. Perhaps you have not been cleaning the area thoroughly. Please follow up and visit your doctor as they may be able to wash it offPerfectly fine to sleep on all your scalp at this point
Yes omen can be good candidates for hair transplant surgery provided you actually have female pattern hair loss or traction alopecia for example. Other medical conditions causing the loss need to be ruled out as well as other scarring diseases like lichen planopilaris or frontal fibrosing alopeciaImportantly expectations need to be established and sufficient donor hair available compared the amount of hair loss you have
It is physically possible of course, but I would highly recommend against it generally and in your case particularly.Doing the crown now will consume a lot of donor hair in an area that will definitely lose my hair in an outwardly concentric manner. this has the potential to leave you with 'reverse' monk look of hair island and a ring of baldness! Yes you can chase it with more transplants but by the time you finish you may not have much left to deal with the front
