I have saggy skin on my neck and jowls. I'm 66 yrs. old and thinking of a surgical neck lift but now I heard about Lazerlift. Which do you think is best?
Answer: Laser-Assisted Weekend Necklift Thank you for your question, kokikoki. You seem like a great candidate for the Laser-Assisted Weekend Necklift, which contours and improves the appearance of patients' necklines utilizing laser technology and a small hidden incision placed under the natural folds of the chin. Please be sure to consult a facial plastic surgeon to receive the highest quality experience and outcome. Best wishes,

Answer: Nothing beats a good lower Face/Neck Lift and is easy to undergo under local. The dramatic improvement you get with a lower face/neck lift is so worth getting and is done under local with a little iv sedation with less complications and quicker recovery.

Answer: Saigon and lasers If your skin is very saggy, then it's not likely that the skin will be improved with lasers much. There are good surgical treatments for this, and you need to find out your options by having a proper examination with a qualified plastic surgeon. Be sure to discuss with your own surgeon about how this applies to you, and whether they have any special concerns in your case.

Answer: Lazerlift or surgical neck lift? = Very likely a FACELIFT and a neck lift #fb #facelift #necklift #laserlift #drmesa #doctormes Saggy skin on the neck and jowls in the 60s (age) usually involves sagging of the mid face in addition of the neck fiscal findings. It would be logical for patients to think that only a neck lift is necessary to address this aging related fiscal findings.Doing a neck lift alone in patients in the 60s very likely will give an operated "pulled" look, since the neck will look stretched and the face will not. Additionally, a neck lift very like will not resolve the jowls when patients are in their 60s.A natural look is obtained when jowls and saggy skin is addressed in patients in their 60s with a FACELIFT and a Necklift. Skin tightening with lasers in the age bracket of 60s may improve a little bit the sagging of the skin, but very likely will never deliver the results of a facelift and neck lift. Facelift is king.Patients interested in neck rejuvenation in their 60s should make a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon specialized in neck and face lifts. Answer: Neck Lift Versus Non Surgical I suggest posting photos and getting a formal consultation to see if you are truly a candidate for something non surgical, ultrasound/laser liposuction, or if only a surgical procedure would be helpful. Best, Dr. Emer.
