The dramatic improvement you get with a lower face/neck lift is so worth getting and is done under local with a little iv sedation with less complications and quicker recovery.

Saggy skin on the neck and jowls in the 60s (age) usually involves sagging of the mid face in addition of the neck fiscal findings. It would  be logical for patients to think that only a neck lift is necessary to address this aging related fiscal findings.Doing a neck lift alone in patients in the 60s very likely will give an operated "pulled" look, since the neck will look stretched and the face will not. Additionally, a neck lift very like will not resolve the jowls when patients are in their 60s.A natural look is obtained when jowls and saggy skin is addressed in patients in their 60s with a FACELIFT and a Necklift. Skin tightening with lasers in the age bracket of  60s may improve a little bit the sagging of the skin, but very likely will never deliver the results of a facelift and neck lift. Without clinical evaluation or photos it is impossible to give you good advice. In general, laser procedures which may tighten deep layers of skin by means of building a collagen are better suited for younger patient who do not have much of sagging and skin/muscle laxity. In your age skin is thinner, less elastic and  muscles/fascia underneath the skin of face and neck need tightening and lift. For that reason surgical neck and face lift is your best option. Anything else will create minimal to no improvement and will be a waste of time and money.You should consult a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in facial rejuvenation and discuss your options. Without seeing your photos and the benefit of physical exam- it's difficult to comment re/what you are specifically a candidate for. But in my opinion- there is NO non-surgical treatment that will effectively address this type of situation. If your skin is very saggy, then it's not likely that the skin will be improved with lasers much.  There are good surgical treatments for this, and you need to find out your options by having a proper examination with a qualified plastic surgeon. Be sure to discuss with your own surgeon about how this applies to you, and whether they have any special concerns in your case.

 A the laser is no more than a cutting tool and offers no advantages during a facelift procedure.
