In your early 40's, you likely have enough elasticity in the skin to do well with a less invasive procedure. Based on the photos, I see some submental fat but not a lot of loose skin/muscle. This can be treated with Kybella injections or liposuction.

A neck lift with the addition of conservative chin enhancement will provide you with the best improvement and most longevity. We perform these procedures routinely under sedative anesthesia; other plastic surgeons use general anesthesia - mainly a matter of surgeon's preference.

This can be treated with a cobination of botox, liposuction, thermiRF.  I suggest you see a physician who does a lot of "face lift' prevention with procedures like I decribed. Liposuction under local is a great 1st start since it is so easy to undergo and makes a good improvement for a very reasonable cost.

I wouldn't call your neck a turkey neck.  You do have some skin laxity.  You might also have some fatty tissue.  An exam is required to tell for sure and to discuss realistic options.  Some surgical and nonsurgical options do exist for this condition   Be sure to discuss with your own surgeon about how this applies to you, and whether they have any special concerns in your case.
