I'm 5 weeks post op and I dyed my hair but while it was being dyed I found that the chemical smell from the hair dye was very strong. Has this caused any damage or irritation to my nose? Thanks

If the rhinoplasty is purely cosmetic (i.e., there will be no functional surgery on the sinuses or the turbinates) then packing is almost never necessary. Even when packing *is* needed, the old painful gauze tape that we used to use is quite outdated, in my opinion. I haven't used it in 19 years...
