Will the strong smell from hair dye affect my nose in any way?

I'm 5 weeks post op and I dyed my hair but while it was being dyed I found that the chemical smell from the hair dye was very strong. Has this caused any damage or irritation to my nose? Thanks

Even when packing *is* needed, the old painful gauze tape that we used to use is quite outdated, in my opinion. I haven't used it in 19 years...
