How much does it typically cost to place a spreader graft for a revision? Is it cheaper than a primary rhinoplasty procedure?

Also, can it be done in a closed rhinoplasty? I am three months post op and am noticing a "dent" on the right side of my nose. Could be swelling, but I have a feeling it's not gonna fill back up. Pics are in a previous question I asked. Thank you.

Without posted photos with this questions and a complete history, and benefit of physical exam- it's impossible to answer this question. What makes you think you need a spreader graft?  These are very specialized procedures utilizing strategic placement of cartilage to achieve a goal- which is usually both functional and aesthetic. In my opinion- yes if indicacted- it can be done through a closed technique.Cheap is not a term that should be used with Cosmetic Surgery and especially revision Rhinoplasty . I suggest you seek a follow up with your Operating Surgeon and if you are still dissatisfied - seek a second opinion from a Board Certified PS with extensive experience in Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a complex procedure and generally a revision or secondary rhinoplasty takes longer and has more complexity than a primary procedure.  However, at three months it may be too early to judge the results of a rhinoplasty.  The full recovery period is nearly a year but in 3 months you should start to see significant improvement.  My approach in revisions is to perform a full rhinoplasty procedure.  This technique provides better exposure and visualization.  Of course, I would consult with a rhinoplasty specialist to do a full examination of the techniques needed for you.  Good luck to you!

Revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than a primary rhinoplasty, takes longer to perform, therefore it is more expensive. It is also best to wait at least one year before undergoing a revision, to allow full healing.
