Swelling post neck tite varies among patients and depends if liposuction was performed at the time of the procedure. When liposuction of the double chin is performed with necktie the swelling tends to be less than when the tightening of the skin is performed alone
Swelling is most pronounced for the first 3-5 days after FaceTite. I frequently tell my patients that they will have puffy cheeks and be swollen underneath the chin, the two areas that I concentrate the procedure on. This gradually returns to baseline and then continues to improve over the course of 3-6 months.
I add liposuction to almost every procedure so that requires a 6 week recovery period. I use compression during this time.
Every patient is different in how quickly the swelling resolves following a NeckTite procedure that uses internal radio-frequency energy to tighten the tissues, reduce fat, and reduce sagging/wrinkles. Results improve up to 3-6 months out and last 3-4 years. If aspiration liposuction is performed swelling may take longer. If you're at least a week out you could try NSAIDS (alleve) and massage to the area. I have my patients wear a compression dressing at night for 2 months. I've had one patient develop an area of neck hardness that responded to topical radio-frequency and heat over a few weeks completely. Don't give up and talk to your provider about your concerns. Best regards.
Thank you for your question. This is highly variable from person to person. You don't mention how far out you are from your procedure or whether any lipo was performed in conjunction with the procedure. Swelling is usually dissipating by 2 weeks post-op but may take up to 3 months to fully resolve. I have found that acoustic wave therapy with the Zimmer Z Wave helps to resolve the swelling. Lymphatic massages can also help to reduce the swelling.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Hello, and thank you for your question! Face/NeckTite results will improve over 6 months to a year after your procedure. Swelling usually lasts from a few days to a few weeks. It just depends on the person. Please make sure you are wearing compression garments, as this will aid in the swelling. Please be sure to see a board-certified plastic surgeon you feel comfortable with. Best of luck!**Please see my attached link-you will find videos at the bottom of the page that have more information on Facetite.James L. Thank you for your question. I recommend wearing a compression garment for at least 48 hours after a FaceTite procedure. For more information, please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face,...
Relative to invasive procedures, swelling after Facetite is generally mild and occasionally moderate in severity. If your goal is to reduce the swelling to negligible asap, I would recommend extending the period of time the compression garment is worn and continue to cool the treated site. Or...
