Is it dangerous or risky to lipo the lower buttocks, will it drop? (photos)

No question this is risky.  All fat compartments are different.  The compartments of the palm of the hand and the back of the hand. Your buttock is more like the palm of your hand so the risk of hanging skin and contour irregularities is high.  Proceed cautiously.  Just because you can find someone to do it does not mean it will work or they have some special expertise.  

Ann. Liposuction in that region can be tricky but not impossible, especially in the hands of an experienced board certified plastic surgeon. This is definitely a case-by-case decision and physical examination is needed. One option of course, is do nothing as you can create more problems than you already have. Best of luck.

Getting the lower buttock liposuctioned is very come , especially when the outer thighs need it as well since they blend together and should be done at the same time under tum. local.

Hello,There should be plenty of us who perform it, including myself. What will cause a drop of the buttock subcutaneous tissue is a loss of adherence of the infra-gluteal crease, something that occurs commonly when liposuctioning the upper posterior thigh, or banana roll. Suctioning above the crease is safe. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who specialize in body contouring. Best of luck!

Removing fat from your lower buttocks can leave you will loose skin making your buttocks appear "older". Depending on how much is taken out will depend on how saggy or loose things will look. If fat is taken out just below the infra-gluteal crease at the "banana roll" it can take away the natural "bra" of the buttocks which can make everything fall or sag even more. 

Ann thank you for your question. I think that a face-to-face examination is necessary to get the most accurate answer since we do not have a profile photograph. From a review of your single post surgical photo I would refrain from liposuction of your lower buttock or gluteal area. All too often this leads to some degree of emptiness and loose skin which is unattractive. I must say that your result appears to be overall fairly good based on the single photograph that you posted of yourself after the procedure. Another consideration might be weight loss or perhaps gentle fat reduction with iLipo nonsurgical treatment. Since your skin has adapted to the new volume, I'm afraid that any significant fat loss will cause relaxation of your skin.
