Why is my top lip so thin? (Photos)

When I smile my top lip gets extremely thin and it makes my smile look odd. Is there any way to fix this without Botox or implants or anything like that?

You should start out with 1cc of juvederm filler or restylane filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur. One syringe is typically $500.

You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. Implants or fat are alternatives. Hi Nourat! If you wanted to enhance your upper lip, a lip filler would be a good place to start. Your bottom lip appears fuller than the top lip so giving the top lip just a little bit more volume can make them more proportional and should be noticeable with smiling. There are no home fixes for a small upper lip. Dermal fillers are a quick fix for this and will last about 6 months. I would use Restylane Silk or Refyne.
