At only one day after your JUVÉDERM® injections, swelling and minor discomfort are normal side effects, so at this point, I wouldn’t worry. You can apply a cold compress or ice pack to the area to help with the swelling. Over the next few days, you should notice the swelling gradually diminish, revealing your smooth results. If you’re still unhappy with your new look once the swelling has disappeared, consult your cosmetic surgeon.
Swelling will last 1-2 weeks after your injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to experience swelling after filler injections, however this should resolve in the next 2 weeks. I always advise my patients to ice the treated area to help resolve swelling. You can also gently massage the swollen area to help smooth it out. Please consult your injector if this persists after two weeks. All the best!
Swelling typically last up to 2 weeks after filler. If you are still concerned at that point I would follow up with your treating physician.

If you are still concerned after about two weeks, I would recommend that you follow-up with your injector to discuss the best course of action. Best of luck!

Swelling in this area usually resolves within a week to two weeks. You can use ice and gentle massage to help. If after two weeks you have concerns about the appearance I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.
It will take up to a week for the swelling to subside. Most of it should resolve in a few days. Sleep on a few pillows to help resolve faster. Arnica might help too. Most of the swelling is related to the hydrophyllic properties of the filler, it absorbs water.
