Im 25 and I had my appendix remove but I was really young back then it was the old way. I start growing up and gaing a lot of weight and had a baby. Im planning to have a mommy makeover on May 2018. I was wondering if I would be elegible to get a tummy tuck with this scar. Leaving pictures

Answer: Yes, it shouldn't be a problem The appendix scar should not pose much of a problem as long as there isn't a hernia. The scar will be removed most likely during a full abdominoplasty.

Answer: Can I have a tummy tuck with this appendix surgery scar? An abdominal scar that low on the abdomen should not prevent you from having a tummy tuck. Good luck!

Answer: Tummy tucks can get rid of abdominal scars, like c-section scars Yes! It appears as though you could get a great result with a tummy tuck and it looks like I can totally get rid of your appendix surgery scar. During a tummy tuck, I remove the excess abdominal skin and I tighten the muscles to get rid of scars and a lot of stretch marks as well as making the belly flatter. The surgery can be combined with breast implants or a lift (Mommy Makeover) as you mentioned. This is great as it saves recovery time and money. The recovery takes 1-2 weeks depending upon the extent of the surgery.
