Can I have a tummy tuck with this appendix surgery scar? (Photos)

An abdominal scar that low on the abdomen should not prevent you from having a tummy tuck. Good luck!

The appendix scar will not be an issue and will be removed during a tummy tuck. You may be a candidate for Vaser ultrasound liposuction instead, which can flatten that area as well.An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your options and expectations.

Based on the above pictures, a Tummy Tuck would likely remove your old appendectomy scar because most of the skin below the belly button is usually excised. Even if the entire scar cannot be removed it will be moved into a lower less noticeable position. Having an appendectomy as a child does not prohibit you from getting a Tummy Tuck.  I hope this helps and best of luck. 

Yes!  It appears as though you could get a great result with a tummy tuck and it looks like I can totally get rid of your appendix surgery scar.  During a tummy tuck, I remove the excess abdominal skin and I tighten the muscles to get rid of scars and a lot of stretch marks as well as making the belly flatter.  The surgery can be combined with breast implants or a lift (Mommy Makeover) as you mentioned.  This is great as it saves recovery time and money.  The recovery takes 1-2 weeks depending upon the extent of the surgery.

photograph, you are a great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction.  You appendectomy scar can be completely removed.   This can be done through a low and short
incision, all completely below the bikini line. 
The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on
the exterior.   Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. 
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are

This type of scar is easy to incorporate into a tummy tuck scar.  Just finish with having babies first and then visit with a reputable board certified plastic surgeon when you are ready.  During your process of getting ready for surgery, lose as much weight as you are comfortable doing so the piercing of belly button can be taken with the excess skin.  Best Wishes!!

Your appendectomy scar appears to be located within the skin and tissue that is normally resected in a traditional tummy tuck surgery. There should be no reason that you can not move forward with the tummy tuck procedure. The scar tissue will just take a minimal amount of extra time and care to dissect through during the surgery, but it really shouldn't be an issue.
