So, I got my BA about 20 days ago. I got 415 cc silicone high profile sientra implants but they look small. I was between 440 cc and 415 cc. Now I really regret not getting the 440 cc even tho I’m sure it’s not that big of a difference. Now I’m thinking I shouldve at least got 475 cc. I was afraid they were going to look too big on me since I have a small frame but I’m not happy with my size. I’ve seen girls smaller than me get like 320 cc and they look bigger than mine
Answer: Breast Implant Size at 3 weeks. At three weeks you will still drop and fluff. As the shape improves, you may find quality rules over quantity. You need to allow your breasts to heal, and your skin/muscle to stretch before revision. The volume of your implant is sitting high, because they have not had a chance to settle. When is is time to revise, if 415 is too small 440 will also be too small. Be sure to follow-up with your plastic surgeon.

Answer: Hard to say- you'd need a consult | Breast Implants | Augmentation | Lift | Fat Grafting | Aesthetic Plastic Surgery | Expert Hello and thank you for your question. Honestly, a formal in-person evaluation would be needed to determine the best treatment. There are several reasons for this: 1) Bra sizes vary based on the clothing store (for example, Victoria's Secret tends to upsize everyone by a whole cup size) 2) Most women do not wear the proper exact fitting bra size for their bodies 3) The exact volume (in cc) needed to change cup size is different for different body types (e.g. 32A to 32D requires a different implant size than 38A to 38D) 4) Be careful NOT to fall into the trap most women do- they see a certain implant size (e.g. 285 cc) or perhaps their friend had a certain size, and they want or request this or another size based on that. Everyone's body is different- 285 cc implants on your friend might look VERY different than they would on you. Be very careful not to make this mistake, because the goal is to find the right size and shape for YOU- for your particular body and your breasts. Because of those multiple factors, and because it is KEY to fully evaluate your breasts in person to make a full set of precise measurements to select the proper implant for you (incorporating factors like amount of breast tissue, implant type, base width, projection, etc), answering your question really would need a formal personalized consultation- to say anything before that would simply be guessing, which would be both unfair and unhelpful to you. Also, just FYI, each surgeon's measurements are slightly different, so numbers, experience, and overall aesthetic from one surgeon aren't necessarily the same as those from another surgeon! Your breasts are such a KEY area of your body and your femininity- therefore, you should ONLY trust an experienced aesthetic plastic surgeon. As such an expert, I have had extensive training and experience with complex aesthetic surgeries under a multiple world-renowned experts in the field. I’d recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with aesthetic plastic surgery procedures) for a formal consultation to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate all your options (surgical and nonsurgical), and decide on the best procedure(s) and type of anesthesia for your specific case. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Still Too Early It is still far too early to determine how the implants will look on you. It takes 3-6 months for breast implants to truly settle into place. During that time, your implants will drop a bit and your skin will stretch to accommodate the larger volume in your breasts. After all of this happens, it is not uncommon for women to say that they feel their implants fit them a bit better. However, if after six months or so you are still unhappy with your size, a simple implant exchange is a very short and easy follow up surgery.

Answer: BA results Dear rose098, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 20 days post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Daniel Barrett, MD

Answer: Breast implants Thank you for your questions and photo. Breast implants come in a variety of sizes. Silicone gel breast implants may be round or shaped, smooth or textured. The decision to choose a particular implant is guided by a variety of factors, including patient desire. However, an important consideration in selecting the optimal implant size for a given patient is also the patient's breast base width. If one choose an implant with a diameter that is significantly greater than the patient's breast base width, the patient may end up with a top heavy appearance. Based on your photo the implant choice appears proportional with your frame. And understand that your frame will differ from others. Nonetheless, if you are unhappy with the results, it may be advisable to reach out to your plastic surgeon and visit with him/her to discuss your concerns and further explore your options. Best wishes!
