I got the Sientra smooth, round HSC. And I see in their catalog there's a 106 series and 107 series. I see they're both high strength cohesiOn but I was wondering what the differences are and if they are big differences. Is one more filled/less rippling than the other? I'm guessing the 107 is more cohesive.
Answer: Sientra implants You are correct. The 107 has a slightly stiffer feeling gel similar to that which is placed in their shaped textured implants. In patients with a fair amount of overlying breast tissue, it's difficult to feel the difference. Hope that's helpful.

Answer: Sientra 106 vs 107 implants Both implants are highly cohesive, with the 107 being somewhat more cohesive. This can give somewhat more volume in the upper part of the implant in a standing position, in other words the area just above the nipple.I have been using the 107 for a few years now and was one of the first plastic surgeons in Texas to be allowed to use it. The patients like both implants, and those who want the maximum superior fullness appreciate the 107.Sincerely,Thomas C.
