What causes migraine / severe headaches after BBL? Does this always happen?

With the liposuction that is performed as part of the BBL, there is some degree of blood loss. Some patients will experience symptoms of anemia. These include headaches, fatigue, and light-headedness. This is why I put my patients on a pre-operative and post-operative routine which includes iron supplementation. Good fluid and food intake are also crucial after this procedure. These symptoms often last a few days and then resolve. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. 

This may depend a large number of factors such as type of anesthesia, previous history of migraines or headaches, pain medication used after surgery, etc.  I think that most of the time this is not an issue.  If it does become an issue, the headaches  can be managed with different medication.  I
would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is
most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of
these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well as
