After years of spending $ on less invasive treatments that didn't work. I am looking to get a necklift asap and am researching surgeons across the country. Any thoughts on Facetite? Or would that just be spending $ on another procedure only to be disappointed? Downtime/scars are big considerations. I can find limited info and the majority of before/after photos seem to be from one doctor? Although the reviews (however limited) seem quite positive. Thank you for being an invaluable resource!

Answer: FaceTite can be combined with a platysmaplasty, if needed FaceTite produces (according to medical presentations and literature, approximately a 20-35% tightening of the skin, which is significant. If you have "platysmal bands" in the neck, we can perform a minimally invasive platysmaplasty, without posterior incisions. There is minimal bruising and bleeding, so that the recovery is reduced significantly, when compared to a full necklift. The results for a 43 year old person should be comparable to a neck lift. The procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia.

Answer: FaceTite/NeckTite Device The FaceTite/NeckTite by InMode is a "micro-invasive device" that really works. I do it in my office under completely local anesthesia and it takes about 1.5hrs for the procedure. It has great results, but you don't see the improvement until at least 3-5 months after the procedure. I tell my patients that I can consistently produce a 30-40% improvement in the neck and jawline tightness. That may not be enough for a 60 year old woman who is looking for a facelift or has the downtime for that procedure. The group that FaceTite works really well for is the mid-40 year old to early 50 year old who still has good skin elasticity and maybe some submental fat. If you have it done on a Wed or Thursday, you will be back at work by Monday. I say to patients...."no sutures, no scalpels, no surgery"!
