I'm looking into getting a non- surgical facelift. During my research I am across two devices Facetite and Profound RF. Could you please tell me how these two differ or are they generally pretty much the same (ie: process, discomfort during and after, results, etc.)? Does the handheld device for Profound RF give the Doctor better treatment advantage, would I get treatement from I?
Answer: Mini Facelift & Mini neck lift -- FaceTite RF for internal skin tightening + Neck Liposuction for definition/contouring FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: How does FaceTite and Profound RF differ? Facetite is treating by placing a probe under the skin for contraction of the tissues and the skin. Other devices like Fractora are placed at the level of the skin and then penetrate.

Answer: Profound RF vs Facetite Both procedures represent radiofrequency energy but they are delivered by different mechanisms and the treatment goals should be distinguished. Profound RF is a needle based energy where the energy is delivered via pins to the skin to improve skin texture, scars, wrinkles. There are several competitors on the market including Fractora, Infini RF which utilize a similar technique. Facetite is used for contraction of the dermis and subcutaneous fat and is applied underneath the skin through a probe like applicator. Facetite is not designed to treat the appearance of the skin and fine wrinkles but to contract the undersurface of it. Depending on your specific needs, an RF needling device such as Profound can be combined with Facetite to deliver even more substantial results.

Answer: FaceTite Thank you for your question. FaceTite is a new procedure that utilizes radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to simultaneously dissolve fat and tighten the skin. The use of radiofrequency energy provides controlled and gentle heat that encourages both the breakdown of fat and the production of collagen within the body. Profound RF is a radiofrequency treatment that tightens the skin but also creates more volume and elastic tissue especially in the area around the jowls and the wrinkles around the mouth. For more information, please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.

Answer: FaceTite versus Profound I would recommend FaceTite as this is slightly more invasive and directly heats up the tissue with the probe underneath the skin. I think it is very specific at how it heats the tissues to allow for more consistent results. Profound is used at the level of the skin and emits the RF energy through microneedles. At the end of the day, they are both radiofrequency devices.
