How long does the extreme swelling last for? I'm three days in and very swollen, what's the normal range of days to be expecting to be this swollen?? And how long to return to normal?
Answer: Post-procedure swelling It is very normal to be swollen 3 days out - in fact you are probably in the "peak" of the swelling process. Sometimes people can be swollen to some degree up to 2 weeks depending on the extent of the procedure as well as the patient's personal factors. There are ways to help reduce the swelling, such as use of compression garments and ice. If you do not see any improvement at all in swelling after 1 wk or if it continues to get worse, I would advise notifying your plastic surgeon. Hope this helps!

Answer: Swelling after facetite This is completely normal. The energy delivered to your tissues will provoke sometimes a severe swelling response that can last up to 7-10 days. You should be monitored closely by your plastic surgeon during this time period.

Answer: What is the recovery time for FaceTite / Fractora procedure? I'm 3 days post op and very swollen. To look presentable, you may need 1 to 2 weeks, depending upon what was done. You will not see the final result for 3 to 6 months.

Answer: FaceTite & Fractora Recovery The recovery from both FaceTite and Fractora depends on a number of factors. You can have some normal swelling based on the amount of tumescent anesthesia that was used. The more "numbing fluid" that they instilled to make you comfortable during the procedure, the longer it takes for the body to absorb that fluid. Usually the swelling from these percutaneous RF procedures peaks around 3 days and then tails off. It is normal to get some induration and hardness under the skin for a few weeks after the procedure. I usually check in with my patients at the 1 week time point, just to make sure that they are healing appropriately. If there is any question about your healing or swelling, I would contact your surgeon to make sure that you can see them and make sure you are doing well.
