Jeuveau and other drug interactions- Is this dangerous? Can it ruin my filler or counter it?

While mixing neuromodulators with other medications when reconstituting the powder into a liquid could lead to unfavorable drug interactions; using different neuromodulators in separate areas (with or without filler already in the area) can be incredibly advantageous and yield great results for the individual needs of a patient. For example, Xeomin could produce better results in your crow’s feet while Dysport could produce better results in your forehead. Additionally, utilization of both filler and toxin in tandem will often provide the best results for full facial harmony because they treat different aspects of the aging process. In medicine, there are always some caveats to treating with multiple modalities concurrently, but in general, the application of toxin in an area with filler will not cause degradation of the product nor vice versa. However, in the future, I highly recommend consulting with an experienced practitioner, prior to any procedures, in order to address any concerns you may have regarding your treatment plan. Hi and thank you for your question! It's perfectly fine for the same patient to get Jeuveau and filler treatments even during the same visit and we do it on regular basis. As long as you have done your treatments with qualified and experienced physicians, you should have no concern. I hope it helps and good luck!

I appreciate your concern. Rest assured that combining fillers and different neuromodulators is not only safe, it can often produce the best results for patients. A procedure known as a liquid facelift often uses multiple products in a single treatment session to achieve comprehensive results for a patient. I do recommend working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience and training in injectables to ensure an optimal outcome with every treatment session. 

You shouldn't have any problems. There is no interaction between any filler and neuromodulator. You can mix them up as much as you want. One will never react with another. I do hope you are not concerned about this issue anymore. Not only is it not dangerous, it is often beneficial to use different fillers and different neuromodulators in the same person and even on the same day. There will be no negative interactions whatsoever.

You should have no problems with adding Jeuveau to your regimen of other neuromodulators and treatments with fillers.  Some patients even prefer treatment with different products in different areas to see if they like one over the other.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Injecting Jeuveau when other neurotoxins or dermal fillers have been injected in the past will not be a problem.

It is fine to have Jeuveau if you've had other neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dypsort) or fillers.  It will not impact your treatment or your results.
