Jeuveau is safe to use if you are allergic to eggs or anything else. It is a very safe product that is very similar to Botox Cosmetic.
Dear delecia4:Ovalbumin (45 kd), the principal protein of egg albumen, is a different protein from human serum albumin (67 kd), which is the type of albumin in botulinum toxin A preparations. So you needn’t be concerned about getting albumin in injectable drugs like Jeuveau. Did you know you have albumin in your blood and tissues, without which you could not survive! I hope this reassures you. Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
There is no reason you can't have Botox, Xeomin, Dysport or Jeuveau if you are allergic to eggs. They have nothing to do with egg allergies, so I hope you will get treated by an expert injector and absolutely love the results. Check the credentials of your injector and make sure they are a board certified physician in dermatology or plastic surgery with a long track record of success and safety.
Having an allergy to eggs would not preclude you from having any of the neuromodulators. Therefore, Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeaveau injections should not present a problem.
Jeuveau by Evolus is the newest neuromodulator on the market in the US. The product contains: Botulinum toxin type A, albumin, and sodium chloride. Eggs are not used in the manufacturing process. An egg allergy shouldn't limit your ability to receive Jeauveau.
There is no reason you cannot have any of the toxins as egg is not used in processing--Botox, Xeomin Dysport of Jeuveau
Thanks for your question. It is not really possible to make a completely accurate prediction about how long Jeuveau will last for you, but it is certainly worth a try! I have been using Jeuveau for my patients for two years now, and am very happy with it. It seems to last about the same...
Hello there, thank you for your question. Most neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Xeomin) have similar durations. Envision the duration of toxin as an arc as it will not lose its effectiveness all at once. On average you can expect the following: Days 1-14: toxin begins to take effect...
Jeuveau is the newest FDA-approved member of the family of neuromodulators with Botox being the most widely used and well-know member. Both medications are very similar in terms of action and also the possible side effects and there is really not much difference. For all these medications, most...
Thank you for your question. The list price of Jeuveau is a comparable to Botox so I would not expect to see a significant savings versus one of the other neurotoxins. Allergan offers the Brilliant Distinctions Rewards program where you earn points for dollars spent, which then can be...
Hi and thank you for your question! Jeuveau (Newtox) is the 4th and latest member of family of neuromodulators based on botulinum toxin type A that has been approved by the FDA. It is structurally and functionally very similar to Botox and from a clinical point of view, both Botox and Jeuveau...
Each neuromodulator on the market is formulated just a bit different. Juveau and Dysport may begin working a bit faster per patient report. Daxxify lasts longer. But some patients find Botox gives them the consistent result they are used to. There is no harm in switching it up! If you're...
