Answer: The "Neck-Sling" Type Of Neck Lift A neck lift is not a singular procedure with a singular #method, but rather is an umbrella term describing a large range of operations with varying #incisions and skin-lifting #techniques, which have been developed and improved upon over the years. Your board certified plastic surgeon will be familiar and able to pair you with your perfect match of surgical approaches based on your skin type and desired results. The type of neck lift incision will depend upon your gender, your hairline and preferred hairstyles, any scars from previous surgeries, and a variety of other factors. As a general rule, a #neck lift #incision starts right in front of or within the hairline on the temple, follows the curve of the front of the ear, travels underneath the earlobe, and ends at the hairline behind the ear. There are also shorter #scar techniques preferred by many patients, which do not have incisions in the hairline. Some patients who wish to have liposuction or tightening of their neck will need an additional incision under their #chin, which can be hidden in a natural skin fold.It is important to be realistic with your desired results. Neck lifts are designed to remove only deep grooves and #wrinkles, not fine ones. Smoothing out every tiny line in your face would leave you with an eerie, unnatural, and undesirable result. The goal should be to make your neck lift look as natural as possible, simply turning back the clock a few years.

Answer: Neck-sling lift for the neck Most patients I have found you not like this lift because it gives them a sense Seshan of tightness in their neck. A normal facelift which I've done for 35 years removes the excess skin without creating this tension. See several experienced surgeons to get another opinion.

Answer: Neck Lift Options There are many different options for neck lift procedures, which suggests that many procedures are subpar. In my hands, the best option is the Corset Platysmaplasty originally described by Dr. Joel Feldman. The beauty of this technique is that;It addresses the excess fat above and below the muscle. It repairs the platysma muscle and puts it back the way it was when you were younger. The sling procedure cut muscle in an unnatural way and can appear too tight and have the sensation of choking some people. If you would like more information on this procedure, please read my book " A More Beautiful You - Reverse aging through skincare, plastic surgery and lifestyle solutions".

Answer: Neck sling, Neck lift Creating a "sling" or hammock using the platysma muscle is a common practice in neck lifts and face lifts. In these cases it is done along with the excision of excess skin and can last a lifetime. When no skin is resected, which is the case with a pure "Sling" the result is much more temporary and can be as short as 6 months. There is also the problem that if you tighten the tissue under the skin and do nothing to tighten the skin what happens to the excess skin? Good question. The excess skin will bunch behind the ears or under the chin. I am not a fan of the isolated sling.

Answer: Neck lift longevity We have never heard of the neck sling type of neck lift. A neck lift involves removal of fatty deposits above and below the platysma muscle in the neck, and the platysma plasty. When there is extra skin present in the neck in patients over 50 years of age, a lower face and neck lift is required. For many examples, please see the link and the video below
