What would you recommend doing first? The surgeon I spoke with said in my rare situation he would be able to complete a mini tummy tuck with umbilical float abdominoplasty since I don't have a huge amount of excess skin and my skin quality Is pretty good in the lower abdomen in addition to BA+BL. He also said he usually does lipo but I was thinking I could save that fat for a future bbl? Or should I do BBL first for best TT results??
Answer: BBL, then Mommy Makeover Most board-certified plastic surgeons prefer to stage that many procedures. It is safer and better for your recovery. BBL and Tummytuck operations each carry a higher incidence of blood clot formation and possible harm or blockage of the lungs. Performing them simultaneously statistically increases the chances of this occurring. Also, recovery from BBL requires no pressure on your buttocks for two weeks after surgery to preserve fat take. You also cannot lie on your stomach after tummy tuck, so this limits the positions that you can recover. Also, the maximum OR time for an ambulatory operation should be no more than 6 hours, BBL and MM certainly takes longer. It is best to perform the BBL first, to allow your surgeon to harvest as much fat as possible for transfer. 4 to 6 months later, mommy makeover surgery can then be performed. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to increase chances for the best possible results. Best of luck.

Answer: Mommy makeover Thank you for your questions. As mommy makeover operation is a combined surgery, it would be better to see your pictures to give a better consultation and quotation. We generally combine tummy tuck, liposuction and breast operations for mommy makeover but first, we need to understand your needs.

Answer: Considering procedures If you are considering BBL it may be best to have that done in the first stage in order to harvest the maximum amount of fat. The breast and tummy can be then done in the second stage. If you are not sure that you want a BBL then liposuction can be done at the time of the tummy tuck in order to enhance the overall results.

Answer: Combination of procedures Dear bkeaton42217, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Answer: BA + BL + TT or BBL first? If you are healthy with a BMI below 30, the three surgeries can be combined. Sleeping during recovery can be creatively managed without compromising the results of the BBL, TT, or the BAM. The result is really a function of how aggressively the surgeon will liposuction and transfer. Most patients get an immense benefit with maximal liposuction of the abdomen, sides, and back to obtain the smallest waist possible and then maximal fat transfer to the buttocks and hips. I allow patients to sleep on their sides. My patient coordinator recommends a plastic inflatable with a hole in it (called a lilo), where instead of your tummy, you place your butt, so you can sleep on your back with pillows propping up your neck and head. If you wish to stage the procedures, I recommend lipo and BBL first, followed three to six months later with the TT.
