The short answer is yes, you CAN have multiple procedures at one time, but just because you CAN, does not mean that you necessarily SHOULD. Patient safety can become an issue when combining several procedures at once. If there is an unusual amount of blood loss performing liposuction to many areas, this can lead to significant post operative problems. Some patients tend to loss more blood during liposuction than others, even when proper technique and proper tumescent fluid mixtures are utilized. There is also the issue of proper post operative compression garment use when performing liposuction of the arms and combining breast surgery at the same time. There are garments which can be used safely & effectively when combining these two procedures, but I have also seen situations in which a facility may not have the specific proper fitting garment which can compromise outcome. Also some states will not allow combining all these procedures at one time in an outpatient, office based surgery facility, such as Florida, because there is a limit of 1,000cc of fat which is allowed to be removed when combined with other surgeries. The amount of fat removed in your particular surgery most likely would exceed this limit. There is also maybe a "legal" time allowed for a single surgery setting in some states and combining several liposuction procedures with a tummy tuck and breast surgery could exceed these time limits. Florida has an 8 hour time limit for out patient surgeries. If one has their surgery performed in the hospital setting, then all of the aforementioned limits on combining surgeries may not apply, but regardless of which setting you choose, there is the issue of your pre-existing health issues. Patients who have certain health issues should not under go any type of elective cosmetic surgery, regardless of the number of procedures or if the surgery is performed in the hospital setting. Patient safety should ALWAYS be the primary concern when performing any type of surgery . Hope this helps
