I am a 44F and my eyelids have begun to look very heavy. I have hooded eyes and as i am aging i am starting to look tired and mad. I can’t see my makeup on my eyelid. My other issue is I have very distinct lines on my forehead. Botox/Dysport only lasts about 2 months for me. Would i be a better candidate for a forehead lift or upper eye bleph given both issues??
Answer: Brow lift and upper lid bleph An open brow lift and upper lid blepharoplasty would address both concerns with minimal scarring and quick recovery. It can be done in the office setting with IV sedation. A lower lid transconjunctival bleph can also be done to correct lower lids bags.

Answer: Brow lift and upper blepharoplasty Your eyebrows are at a good level but you have forehead wrinkles and you have a receding hairline. I recommend a brow lift. This will lower your hairline, decrease the vertical height of the forehead and get rid of the forehead wrinkles. You would also benefit from an upper blepharoplasty. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Upper eyelids and brows You would certainly benefit from upper eyelid surgery. An in person consultation would help determine if a browlift would also be a good option for you. One common misconception is that a browlift alleviates the need for neurotoxin. You would still need neurotoxin to help prevent wrinkle formation, although typically less of an amount. Best to see an eyelid expert.

Answer: Both I would recommend both! The brow lift will help so that you aren't always trying to lift your brows, thus smoothing out the forehead lines. The upper bleph will help wtih the eyelid skin. You may still need dysport/botox going forward but hopefully you can get by with less.

Answer: Upper blepharoplasty, possibly brow lift Based on these photos it is very likely that both blepharoplasty and brow lift should be considered. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in periorbital rejuvenation is recommended.
