I had my lipo almost two years ago and one side of my back seems to have more fat on it. I mentioned this to my surgeon last year and they acted as if it wasn’t noticeable and told me not to worry but now it looks like it is bigger on one side of my flanks and where my bra sits. Any suggestions on what to do or advice on how to fix this?
Answer: Liposuction Results Hi! It is challenging to see the areas completely with the pictures here. There may be some degree of shadowing (from the lighting) and posture/camera angle that makes assessing the area difficult. For the areas that concern you, if there are residual pockets of fat then that can be treated with a touch up round of liposuction plus/minus skin tightening technology. Another factor to consider is whether there is significant fibrosis or scar tissue there- though 2 years out from surgery it should be soft. Hope this helps,Dr. Dev

Answer: Related Treatment Alternatives Hello; Assessment; before the operation is important. Because, in some people; there may be asymmetric fat accumulation or asymmetric skin laxity; between the right and left sides. Telling for this situation beforehand; it is necessary to explain that; complete symmetry; cannot be achieved after the operation. Sometimes, even though both sides are symmetrical; due to the operation performed; an asymmetrical appearance may occur. Asymmetry; in the form of the skin laxity or fat accumulation; it may happen. If there is fat accumulation asymmetry; with Vaserlipo treatment; it can be resolved. However, if there is a difference in skin laxity; by Renuvion J Plasma procedure; slack can be reduced.

Answer: Back Part may be the way you stand. It appears, though your photos are dark, that you have some scoliosis which will make your back uneven. An examination is needed to see if there is any residual fat.

Answer: Asymmetry You may have some excess fat on one side in addition to some skin laxity which both influence the final look. You can consider a revision to your liposuction as well as J Plasma to help tighten the skin for a smoother appearance. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Liposuction Thank you for your questions and sorry to hear your are not happy with your results. You may have some excess fat on one side versus the other so in that case you may want to have an additional liposuction "touch up" procedure. Some of the difference in what you see may also be due to your posture and how you are standing. In any case, be sure to see and experienced, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, who can visit and examine your specific areas of concern so that they are addressed with liposuction. Benjamin J.
