Hello- thank you for sharing your pictures. Fat transfer is a good option to help improve the contour of the right breast. It also appears like the Areola and Nipple are puckering down. This can be improved with a combination of the fat transfer and a doughnut style lift. If your muscle was disinserted and animating with flexion then a formal muscle repair can be performed to improve muscle function and reorient the muscle to its normal anatomical position. Hi!Congratulations on your decision to Explant! A lift will definitely help correct some of your asymmetry. Your nipple areola position and size will be higher and smaller. Your breast footprints (shape) are slightly different so that natural shape difference post Explant will persist. Hi!I think drains are necessary after butt implant removal. There is a large space where post operative fluid can accumulate, form a Seroma and even get infected. The drain helps eliminate all the fluid that builds in that space. Typically drains stay in for 5-7 days. Hope this helps.Check out my butt implant removal video below.Dr. Dev

Hello!Congratulations on your decision to remove your implants. The sensitivity you are feeling is not uncommon. Typically this should start calming down and resolves over the course of 1 year. In the meantime you can do things to control the sensitivity - apply ice packs/frozen peas to the side of the chest the help numb the nerve that supplies the nipple- do this for 20 minutes 2-3 times a day as needed, take over the counter ibuprofen as needed as an anti inflammatory and wear compression when working out. Any swelling in that area will aggravate the nerve specially during your menstrual cycle. If the pain is not tolerable then sometimes a medrol dose pack can be prescribed by your pcp/surgeon. You can also protect the nipples by wearing nipple patches/covers that stick on. Hope this helps Dr Dev

Hi,You can definitely have your breast implants removed along with a breast lift to help with "sagging" . I suggest consultation with a plastic surgeon who has experience in breast implant removal and reconstruction to see what your best options are. You can do these procedures even with dense breasts. Hello,Though this question was posted several years ago, I think ongoing comments/discussion would be beneficial to other patients. Given you have had 4 surgeries, I believe the best option is to explant (remove your implants) and reconstruct the breasts with a mastopexy (breast lift). Once this has healed and settled (typically over 1 year), you can opt to volumize/shape the breasts with a fat transfer thereby eliminating any implant based options- which seems to be the culprit of all your issues.Hope this helps!Dr. Dev

Hello! Though this question was posted several years ago, other patients may benefit from ongoing comments/discussion. My personal opinion is that it is ok to remove them right away. You will not be deformed- you will simply go back to your original size/shape given they have been in for only 3 weeks. I have removed implants/capsules as early as 3 months after placement (I did not place them- nor do I place any implants in my practice) and the breasts return to their natural state as they heal over the course of a year. Hi Sammi_05,Thanks for your inquiry. Your breasts have undergone some changes over the 11 years since you have had the implants. I definitely recommend undergoing an Explant with a Total Capsulectomy. This can be combined with a lift which is best determined by several factors. A lift is beneficial if the tissue/skin has stretched out considerably, the breasts have dropped leaving the nipple/areola at a low position and if the areola size has increased. If you meet these criteria then you will benefit from a lift. If you have a descent volume of breast tissue then a lift can help reposition this tissue to create some fullness and reconstruct the breasts. Hope this helps!Dr. Dev

Hi,Yes, you should removed your implants. They will continue to drop and stretch the pocket over time. This may eventually need skin removal or a buttock lift if the soft tissue stretches out. You can opt to volumize or correct any contour irregularities with a fat transfer to the subcutaneous tissue (NOT THE MUSCLE).Hope this helps,Dr. Dev

Hi,Thanks for your inquiry. Similar to autoimmune issues related to breast implants (known commonly as breast implant illness) you can have a reaction to the foreign body that can lead to illness. The first step is to make sure you see your primary care doctor to rule out any other causes of your headaches and nausea. With regards to the numbness in the legs, this can be from mechanical pressure or compression of the nerves from the implants. You should see your plastic surgeon to evaluate the implants and consider consultation with a neurologist to evaluate the numbness in the legs. This may lead to imaging like an MRI. If your numbness in the legs are truly related to your implants then you may be able to submit it to insurance with the supporting consultations and documents. Hope this helps!Dr. Dev
