Tummy tuck vs Bodytite/Renuvion + endoscopic DR/ hernia repair. Would skin tightening be enough? (Photos)

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

This is a common question for people who are deciding between a tummy tuck and less invasive alternatives. Based on the photographs provided, it appears that you have extra loose skin below and above the belly button that would be best addressed with an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). This will lead to the best contour possible. The main drawback to this is having a scar, but usually that scar is very low and well hidden. Hope this helps!

With the amount of loose skin on your lower abdomen it does not appear that utilizing moderately invasive techniques with liposuction or other adjuvants would be enough to tighten the skin of the lower abdomen. Unfortunately, the only procedure that would likely give you the contour that you desire would be an abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck.

From your photos a tummy tuck is the recommended procedure. In addition to removing excess fat and skin, the abdominal wall laxity would be corrected. The stretch marks below the belly button would be removed. The result will be a flatter, tighter tummy. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.
