I am 59 years old, lift weights and exercise regularly. I am looking for a procedure to help with my skin laxity on my arms. I have considered Morpheus, Accutite, and Vivace, Reunion but do not know which would the best for arms. I do have some sun damage. Please advise. Thank you.
Answer: Tighten loose skin on the arms with Morpheus8 Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: What procedure will help skin laxity on arms? (photos) I perform a large number of Bodytite and Facetite procedures to help improve patient skin excess or laxity or to correct previous surgeries performed by other surgeons. Bodytite and Facetite utilize a radiofrequency technology that generates heat to cause circumferential contraction around the probe that is placed under the skin.

Answer: Skin laxity An in person evaluation is always best but based on your photos it appears your skin laxity would be best addressed with an arm lift. You may see some improvement with the non surgical options, but it is best to discuss your expectations before selecting a treatment option.

Answer: What procedure will help skin laxity on arms ? Morpheus 8, Bodytite/Accutite, Renuvion, Profhilo, collagen-stimulating Hi, Thanks for your question and pictures. Based on the pictures provided, it seems you lost collagen due to the aging process, sun exposure, life style (smoking, excessive loose weight, alcohol, sugar etc.) , genetic etc. This leads to skin losing its elasticity, reduce thickness (skin became thinner) and increase wrinkles and sagging. Our body begins to lose collagen at around 30 years old however the effects become noticeable after several years. Unfortunately, there's no way to stop this process however there are several cosmetic treatments can reduce and build/improve collagen. Over the years, many new devices have become available for addressing skin laxity including laser therapy (e.g. CO2 , Erbium etc.) , radiofrequency (RF) and micro-needling, ultrasound, intense pulsed light (IPL), collagen-stimulating dermal fillers. In you case, it is important to perform a detailed medical ( including age, lifestyle etc.) where the doctor/surgeon is able to give you several options (surgical and non surgical). The key here is to understand what you would like to achieve, what are your expectations. Before to consider any surgical option I would recommend first to start with non surgical/ less invasive option however the results are never guarantee because each patient is different and the results varies patient to patient. In our clinic we offer a bespoke assessment and treatment plan with combination of Morpheus 8 ( 3 sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart)/Bodytite/Accutite/ Renuvion with other aesthetic medical treatments including Profhilo, collagen-stimulating dermal fillers ( e.g. Radiesse, Sculptra etc. ) These combined procedures will allow to increase the probability of skin tightening and so reduce more the risk of "saggy" skin. Aftercare recommendations including healthy diet and exercise can also help. However, if your saggy/excess skin will not improve and so if you are unhappy after at least 6 months then you should consider more invasive options such as surgical treatment to remove the excess of loose skin. I would recommend to make an appointment with an expert body contouring doctor for a medical assessment in order to make a bespoke treatment plan. Hope this helps, Best Wishes, Dr Giuseppe Fiore

Answer: Surgery vs Accutite plus Morpheus 8 An in person consult is always best. I always ask by patients how much correction will make them happy and what are they willing to go through to get there?Based on your photos, likely the most correction for you will be achieved through a surgical arm lift - however this has downtime, incisions/scars. Often the scars from a surgical arm lift can be quite visible depending on your personal clothing style and activities. If you want to avoid scars and prolonged downtime then I would recommend Accutite (personally I would use the Bodytite handpiece not the Accutite handpiece on the upper arms) followed immediately with Morpheus Body (not the Morpheus 8 handpiece) and then potentially a second Morpheus Body treatment in 6 weeks. This will avoid the scars and downtime of a surgical lift and give you the best nonsurgical results possible.
