Is it dangerous to have 1ml lip fillers if I am a recovering bulimic?

Hi! I've had bulimia the past decade but have been trying my hardest to completely give it up. I've always wanted my lips fixed. Am I able to get lip fillers if I have occasional slip ups? Or is it a dangerous idea, will it cause damage to my lips? Thank you!

If adding hyaluronic acid to your lips was something that you always wanted to do then its fine to add 1 ml. Its not dangerous in any way and maybe it will help you boost your confidence. But if this something that you decided to do recently maybe wait for a bit to make sure its something you really want.

There is no issue or interaction in treating someone with bulimia with hyaluronic acid based fillers, even if you were to slip up.
