Okay so I have fairly full lips, however, they are very small in width and the upper lip looks puffy with no defined cupid’s now. What kind of surgery would be recommended? I want a more defined cupid’s bow and somehow, make my lips look wider? I know it’s not possible but what could create that illusion?
Answer: Round lip shape Hello. It's hard to say what is best for you without seeing your face. Remember that the best shape for lips or mouth depends on the face contour. If you are thinking of surgery, graft injection can be the best to define the shape you want. For a non-surgery procedure, you can try fillers in the sides of your lips. Consult a board-certified doctor before any procedure. Good luck!

Answer: Augmenting the lips in Cupids bow region The best way to enhance cupid's bow is to place botox along the philtrum to build up the philtral ridge or the area of the white lip in the center just above cupid's bow. Then you can fill in the lip on the sides and this will enhance that region. The best fillers for that purpose I have found to be Juvederm Ultra plus or Restylane.

Answer: How to fix my small, round lip shape? Thank you for your pictures and questions. If you have had fillers in the past, my suggestion would be to have them dissolved and let things return to normal and then start over from scratch. There is some lack of balance and shape of your lips and this can likely be corrected with fillers, but I would not keep adding to a problem, I would recommend breaking it down and starting from the beginning. If you have not had any filler at all, then I would consider some balancing procedures but there may be limits to what can be achieved based on your anatomy.Best of luck!Dallas R. Answer: Lip Augmentation Candidate -- Injectable Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Fat Grafting to Lips, NovaThreads for Lift I would highly recommend getting a formal evaluation with and treatment from a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and expert in facial sculpting. Technique is the key to a successful lip augmentation with fillers, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. An experienced physician will be able to determine which filler, how much filler, and which technique will give you the subtle result you're looking for. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Reduction of upper lip Based on these photos, and short of in person evaluation, it is my impression tat reduction of upper lip and shaping of lower portion of upper lip may give you desired improvement. I would not recommend correction of Cupid's bow and scars along lip/skin junction since they may be unpredictable. In person evaluation is recommended. Good luck.
