I'm trying to figure out why I am getting infection in my lips after filler. Ihave gotten my lips done 4 times. The first two times with juvederm (no complications), next two times with restalyne (one time was perlane). My lips became extremely [RS bleep] (particularly in one side of my lip) Some cosmetic physicians are telling me not to get it again, but I don't see how I can become resistant suddenly? I'm due to get juvederm again in October, should I?

Thank you for your question. What you are experiencing is very unlikely due to Restylane injections. It is very rare for Restylane to affect vision, however when it does the onset is fairly quick. However, at your age, these are serious symptoms and I recommend having a consultation with an eye...
Glad to hear you like the results of the Fern Pattern Technique so much! I have trained only a few in the US to use this technique, unfortunately -as far as I know- they are all on the West Coast.
Kind regards and good luck with your search,

Thank you for your question. In my experience, Restylane does not migrate and cause such symptoms. However unless your symptoms are appearing right after injection, I believe this may be due to other causes. I recommend having an evaluation with your treating physician. Best of Luck!
