I'm just over 8 months post op. I had revision from 340cc overs to 500cc unders. When i wear any undwire bra, i get an uncomfortable pain and tenderness from both breasts. After taking off the bra, it takes some time before they feel normal again and the pain goes away. I've been fitted regularly and believe I'm in the right size bra. My question is, is this a normal thing? Or does wearing an underwire and getting pain mean a sign there's something wrong? Thank you.

Thank you for the question and good quality photographs! Based on your photographs, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with revisionary breast augmentation surgery. Some thoughts may be helpful to you: there is no specific implant...
In a healthy person it likely won’t be an issue, but it would be better to discuss this with an anesthesiologist. Your plastic surgeon (or any of the other surgeons) should be able to set you up with an anaesthesia consult so you can have your questions answered.
The same pocket could be used. However, with this large a size change, the pocket is often made larger, a procedure we call a capsulotomy. This involves cutting the capsule tissue circumferentially so that the pocket enlarges.
