Can my breasts be increased 2 cup sizes bigger by fa at transfer?

Great question. 
Let's start with the following statements
1. There is NO industry standard for bra cup sizing. Go to 5 stores and buy the same letter and number bra and you might end up with 5 different bras and none fit. 
2. Fat - in and of itself - is not a great structural material in terms of giving a breast shape, roundness, etc
3. Only about 60% (give or take) of transferred fat actually lives in its new grafted position. Some surgeons will claim higher numbers but this is a safe reasonable number. What this means is that your desired goal may take more than one operation

Here's a scenario: 
A woman sees me and after using the VECTRA, we decide together that she likes the look a 450cc moderate profile implant gives her. In terms of fat transfer - that means we would need to harvest almost 1000cc of usable fat for transfer and of that 1000cc only 600cc survives. Let's also assume that for this scenario that fat graft losses are perfectly symmetric (which it rarely is). To achieve the original goal of 450 / side - we need another trip to the OR. Compare that to a relatively straight forward procedure that takes about an hour and can offer a variety of sizes and projections.

Dont get me wrong - I LOVE fat grafting and routinely use it for a variety of situations - just maybe not for this one.

A fat transfer to your breasts is an alternative to undergoing a traditional breast augmentation with implants. Generally, the procedure can increase your cup size some if you have enough donor fat to harvest from other areas of your body such as waist, back, flanks and thighs. I have had excellent results with  purified fat transfer to the breast but managing expectations with the patient is key. I recommend an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to address your concerns, discuss risks and form a cosmetic treatment plan that best suits your needs.

I can commonly increase breast size by one or two cups with fat grafting. To increase the breast by two cup sizes we would need to inject between 500-600 cc of fat. Photos would help to determine if that much fat would actually fit into your breasts in one session.

Fat transfer can provide only one bra cup larger breasts. Breast implants are a great option for those woman which are looking for a bigger increase in size. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Typically the best candidates for a fat transfer breast augmentation are those looking for a relatively small increase in breast size (typically 1 cup size). You risk compromising the blood supply to the breast when attempting to do a larger volume than 1 cup size.

I would say that a cup size is realistic based on your physical exam and breast size. It is best to have a consult. I have done over a thousand fat transfer cases to the breast/chest and each one is different. 

Hello, Thanks for sharing your query. Breast fat fill is a very good option for people not willing for implant.  Fat fill can give you upper pole fullness but not so much of projection. Usually you can expect one cup size increase by fat fill. Additional augmentation may require another sitting of fat fill. Consult a board certified plastic surgeon.
